PBC volunteers meet with parents in the community to guide children (infants-5th grade) to grow up with core values like generosity, love and faith.

We strive to provide a safe, loving environment where the children can have fun and learn about God, His Word, and His plan for their lives! 

SAFETY

FIRST

The safety of every child is our utmost concern. To ensure this, parents or guardians must personally "check in" each child and receive a security tag that corresponds to the child's profile. During pickup, children will only be released to adults who can present the matching security tag.

At Pennsville, we use a curriculum designed to meet the needs of every child, providing various activities at different levels to foster their growth and development. Our leaders are actively engaging to share the love of Jesus.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Questions about what to do when you bring your kids to church? We can help!

  • When are your services?

    Both our Sunday morning service at 9:45am (11:15 Sunday School hour) & our Wednesday evening service at 7pm are designed with kids in mind. There are groups for every age from infants to 5th Grade!

  • Where do I check my child in?

    There are check-in kiosks located throughout the church, upstairs & downstairs. There will be people stationed near each kiosk that can assist you in getting your child checked in to the correct class. 

  • Is there Nursery?

    Nursery is provided for all regular services for children Newborn through 2 years old. 

  • How will you get ahold of me if there's a problem?

    At check-in you will be asked to provide an emergency contact number where you can be reached. In the case of any issue or emergency, you will be contacted at this number. 


    If you are in our Sunday morning service, your child's number will be displayed on the bottom corner of the overhead if your child needs you during the service.

  • What is the Comfort Room?

    The purpose of this peaceful place is for children who may be missing a parent, or overstimulated in some way. This is a calm and safe space where children can relax and recharge before rejoining their class.


    A second use of this room is for parents who need to be with their child and have the live service available.


    When not in use for children, adults are also welcome here for counseling and prayer.

  • How do I know what events are happening?

    Find us on our Children's Ministry Facebook page, or get connected with our church app Realm Connect. Contact the office for details on how to create an account for the app.

  • I have a question I need answered.

    Our Children's Ministry Director, Cathleen Laird, is always willing to answer any questions you may have regarding the children's ministries here at PBC!
